Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows trailer, release “imminent”

After many months of wait, the Plague of Shadows expansion / DLC (completely free for owners of the game!) is finally ready to be released. In fact, development ended on August 5th, and right now, the DLC is currently in the “submission phase”. A release date should be announced “very, very soon”, and Yacht Club Games even promises that its launch is “imminent”!

In order to help people wait, Yacht Club Games uploaded a trailer for Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows, which is available in 60fps on their website.

What’s more, Yacht Club Games once again teased their “MEGATON” reveal, for “this next week”. Will we learn more about it at the Nindies@Night, where the developers will be in attendance? One thing’s for sure: this event will allows fans to try out the brand new Challenge Mode, and is not something you want to miss according to the developers.

Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows (Wii U / 3DS DLC) is coming soon.
The retail release of Shovel Knight (which includes the Plague of Shadow DLC) is coming on October 13th in North America, and October 16th in Europe.
