Shokugeki no Souma getting a Nintendo 3DS game, teaser commercial

Today, FuRyu revealed a teaser commercial for the game… which doesn’t show anything at all, unfortunately.

Some info from Jump magazine (coming out on Monday) have already started to leak (like the Dragon Quest VIII cast), and allow us to learn about FuRyu’s latest Nintendo 3DS game. Unfortunately, it’s not an original title like The Legend of Legacy: it’s another adaptation of a famous manga/anime series.

This time around, it’s Shokugeki no Souma (Food Wars), a cooking manga by Yuuto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki, which is getting a Nintendo 3DS game by FuRyu. It’s called Shokugeki no Souma: Yuujou to Kizuna (lit. Food Wars: The Dish of Friendship and Bonds), and is described as a “taste personal experience cooking battle adventure” game.

It will feature characters such as Souma Yukihira (the protagonist) and the other students of the Toutsuki Culinary Academy, taking part in the intense cooking battles the series is known for.

Shokugeki no Souma: Yuujou to Kizuna (3DS) comes out this winter in Japan.
