SEGA 3D Classics Collection 3: final two games to be revealed in Famitsu this week
A few weeks ago, SEGA announced that a third SEGA 3D Classics Collection compilation would be released at retail in December, in Japan. This one will include a total of 9 games, with 5 announced initially. SEGA later revealed that Turbo Outrun and Thunder Force III would be included in this new compilation.
We still don’t know about the remaining two games, but it looks like we don’t have that much longer to wait… Famitsu just published its weekly batch of previews, and confirms that the two titles would be revealed in the latest issue of the magazine (releasing this Thursday in Japan, Wednesday afternoon/evening in Europe and North America). That being said, we might not have to wait that long, thanks to the usual leaks!
Here’s a the list of games included in the SEGA 3D Classics Collection 3: Final Stage, on Nintendo 3DS:
- 3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2
- 3D Afterburner II
- 3D Streets of Rage 2
- 3D Gunstar Heroes
- 3D Super Hang-on
- Turbo Outrun
- Thunder Force III
- two more titles, to be revealed in Famitsu magazine this week
There’s no doubt Famitsu will also reveal the full artwork for the cover in this week’s issue.
SEGA 3D Classics Collection 3: Final Stage (3DS) comes out on December 22nd in Japan. A pack with all three collections will also come out on the same day, at retail.
