SEGA 3D Classics Archives 2 headed to retail in Japan, on December 23rd

Last year, in December, SEGA released SEGA 3D Classics Archives in Japan: a collection of the various SEGA 3D Classics games released until then, and available at retail. It includes the following games: 3D Space Harrier, 3D Fantasy Zone: Opa-Opa Bros., 3D Out Run, 3D Streets of Rage, 3D Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master, 3D Ecco the Dolphin, Space Harrier 3D and Out Run 3D.

And it looks like this first collection was quite successful for SEGA, as Famitsu just revealed that a second one (logically called SEGA 3D Classics Archives 2) would come out on December 23rd in Japan. It will include the following games:

• 3D Sonic The Hedgehog
• 3D Galaxy Force II
• 3D Thunderblade
• 3D Altered Beast
• 3D Fantasy Zone II W

The Famitsu preview mentions that this collection will also include some bonuses, but we don’t know what exactly for now. As for the artwork on the boxart, it will once again be done by the one and only Ken Sugimori!
