Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban!

This November in Japan, Konami will release the latest entry in the long-running Momotaro Dentetsu series, Momotarou Dentetsu World ~ Chikyuu wa KJibou de Mawatteru!~. In the mean time, the previous entry, Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban!, isn’t quite done selling just yet!

Last month, Konami announced that total shipments for the game (retail shipments + digital sales) have now topped 4 million units. With such strong sales, Konami’s party game isn’t just one of the best-selling third-party games on Nintendo Switch, it also counts among the top-sellers games on the platform!

With Momotarou Dentetsu World ~ Chikyuu wa KJibou de Mawatteru!~ releasing this November, this might very well be the last milestone for Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban!. It’s not clear how much its successors will end up selling, but there’s little doubt Konami has high expectations for it.
