Today, Nintendo uploaded a tutorial video for Puzzle & Dragons Z (and Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition, since the core gameplay is the same). It’s all about a very useful technique that is pretty much mandatory to pull off lots of combos: the ‘L’ pattern. After all, just putting together orbs isn’t enough, and mindlessly moving orbs without thinking too much about it simply won’t be enough.

Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition (3DS) comes out in a few hours in Japan, on May 8th in Europe and May 22nd in North America. In the West, the game will come bundled with Puzzle & Dragons Z. The demo for Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition is already available in Japan and Europe, and will come out this Thursday in North America.
