Puzzle & Dragons X: gameplay footage, tons of screenshots/artworks

Update

Some screenshots and artworks for Soul Capture and Soul Armours in Puzzle & Dragons X were added: you will find them below, after the break!

***Puzzle & Dragons XToday, Famitsu opened a special portal dedicated to Puzzle & Dragons X, which comes out next month in Japan. This portal gathers various articles about the game, and also features some videos. Today, there were already several articles available, filled to the brim with new screenshots and artworks (over 150 of them!)

But before that, here’s some more gameplay footage:

Here’s the first batch of screenshots, showcasing the Dragon Colosseum and VS Mode:

Head after the break for the rest!

The second batch of screenshots and artworks is about gameplay systems and the battle system, including the Soul Armours, the Tamazo Armour, co-op, VS, and more:

The third batch of screenshots and artworks showcase the main characters, some of the NPC, the Sages (who can transform into powerful dragons), original monsters created exclusively for Puzzle & Dragons X, but also returning monsters from Puzzle & Dragons (on smart devices):

The fourth batch of screenshots and artworks showcase the various areas and places of Dragoza Island, but also the facilities to be found in the various villages, and more:

Finally, the last batch of screenshots and artworks showcase Soul Capture, which allows you to capture monsters. In doing so, you get materials, when can then be used to create Soul Armour: special armour imbued with the powers of monsters. If you can scan the toys/medals (such as the one that comes with all first-print copies at retail), you get the Soul Armour immediately, without having to capture the monster.

We already covered most of the elements showcased with those screenshots and artworks, so make sure to click here to check out our previous posts for the game!

Puzzle & Dragons X (3DS) comes out on July 28th in Japan.
