Pokémon Sun and Moon – Pikachu distribution (Japan)

Following the Tohoku earhquake in March 2011, The Pokémon Company launched the Pokémon With You charity campaign, that aims at providing relief to the regions that were the most affected by this earthquake.

And this year again, The Pokémon Company is running a special promotion for their Pokémon With You campaign. Thanks to this promotion, players can get a special Pikachu for Pokémon Sun and Moon, from March 11th to March 31st, via a Serial Code. To get that serial code, all you have to do is make a donation for the campaign.

This special Pikachu is Level 10, holds a Sweet Heart, and knows the following moves:

  • Bestow (that it normally cannot get without breeding)
  • Hold Hands
  • Returns
  • Play Nice

Pokémon Sun and Moon – Battle Competition

Yesterday, registration for the latest Battle Competition for Pokémon Sun and Moon started. It’s called the Kanto X Alola Regional Rumble, and here’s everything you need to know about it:

  • Format: Single Battle, 3 Pokémon per battle;
  • Pokémon restrictions: only Pokémon from the Kanto region, and those from the Alolan Pokédex, with the exception of Zygarde, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, Necrozma, and Magearna;
  • Item restrictions: all items allowed except Mega Stone. Two Pokémon cannot be holding the same Hold Item;
  • Level: 1 to 100, but level capped to 50 during battles
  • Registration: March 9th to March 16th. Participant limit: 50 000
  • Battles: March 17th to March 19th, with a limit of 15 battles/player and /day;
  • Results: announced sometime in April;
  • Participation gift (must complete at least 3 battles): Pidgeotite Mega Stone and Steelixite Mega Stone.

Pokkén Tournament (Arcade)

Yesterday, a new event for Pokkén Tournament (Arcade) went live in Japan. As you can expect, it’s Spring-themed, and it features the following:

  • new mission panel to complete, with various rewards to unlock (including Espeon and Umbreon as Support Pokémon, new customisation items for your avatar, and special titles);
  • special bonus goodies, such as Support Pokémon sets, new customisation items for your avatar, and special titles);
  • special customisation items for your avatar via the Pokkén Tournament web portal
