Pokémon Duel

The latest Gym Cup event is the Steel Gym Cup, and it went live today. Here’s all you need to know about it:

  • Runs from June 7th to June 11th
  • Steel-type Movement 0, 1, and 2 figures = +1 Movement;
  • Fire-type figures = +20 Attack (for each attack);
  • Gym Boosters available, with the contents increasing with your winning streak.
  • Shiny Ho-Oh figure available as reward
  • Trophies will be distributed to qualifying players after the event.

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon – Battle Competition

Yesterday, registrations for the latest Battle Competition for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon went live. It’s called the 2018 International Challenge June, and here’s all you need to know about it:

  • Pokémon allowed: all Pokémon from the National Pokédex (excluding those brought via Poké Transporter);
  • Pokémon banned: Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Diancie, Hoopa, Volcanion, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, Necrozma, Magearna, Marshadow, and Ash-Greninja;
  • Battles: Double Battles, Team of 6 Pokémon and 4 sent to battle;
  • Level: 50 (lowered if above that);
  • Items: all allowed (but no duplicates);
  • Participation prize: 50 Battle Points (need to battle at least once), top players in each division will earn Championship Points (that go towards qualification to the Pokémon World Championships);
  • Registration: June 7th to June 14th;
  • Battles: June 15th to June 17th;
  • Results announced sometime in July.
