Pokémon GO

Since players cleared all the “missions” during the Global Challenge last week-end, the following rewards are now live until July 23rd:

  • Double amount of Candies when catching Pokémon
  • double amount of Candies when hatching Eggs
  • Rare Candy for each Raid Battle
  • Egg Distance reduced by half

Also, Zapdos Day will take place on July 21st at the same time as the Community Days, and you will have a chance to get a Shiny Zapdos from the Zapdos raids. You will also get a Raid Pass up to 5 times when spinning a Photo Disc at a Gym.

Niantic has revealed that 21 000 trainers attended the Pokémon GO Fest in Chicago, with 180 000 additional trainers in the sourrounding Chicago area. Attendeed walked an average of more than 6 kilometers, completed 36 Research Tasks on average, and caught an average of 350 Pokémon!

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon – Meloetta

Yesterday, it was announced that Meloetta is the Pokémon that will be distributed at the Pokémon World Championships this year (August 24h to August 26th in Nashville, Tennesee). Here’s some details about it:

  • Level: 50
  • Hold item: Metronome
  • Moves: Celebrate, Relic Song, Round, Sing

This week, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Let’s Go, Eevee! will be featured in Famitsu magazine, with details about the game (most likely the same as those revealed last week), but also an interview with Junichi Masuda.
