Pokémon Sun and Moon – Shiny Tapu Koko
Earlier today, an interesting image surfaced on the internet: it mentions a Shiny Tapu Koko distribution for Pokémon Sun and Moon, in Japan. According to that image, this Shiny Tapu Koko will be distributed via Serial Code, available from the hotspots in 7-Eleven stores across Japan from March 17th to April 9th.
But for some reason, the image shows a screenshots of the password screen from… Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire (though the Mystery Gift menu is from Pokémon Sun and Moon). As such, it’s possible this image is a fake (but a surprisingly elaborate one), which is why we will not update the list of distributions for Pokémon Sun and Moon until we have an official announcement.

Genesect distribution reminder
A quick reminder for players in Europe and North America: the Genesect distribution for Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire ends tomorrow (on February 28th). You can use the following Serial Code to get it before it’s too late:
- Europe: GENESECT2016
- North America: GENESECT20
As usual, you cannot use this Serial Code if you already received Genesect via the previous distribution.
