Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Let’s Go, Eevee!

A new Pokémon distribution was announced for Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Let’s Go, Eevee!, this time for South Korea. Players will be able to get a Shiny Pikachu (Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!) or a Shiny Eevee (Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!). Here’s details about both Pokémon:

Shiny Pikachu

  • Level: 10
  • Moves: Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Iron Tail, and Helping Hand

Shiny Eevee

  • Level: 10
  • Moves: Double-Edge, Dig, Iron Tail, and Helping Hand

There are two ways to get the Serial Code for the Pokémon:

  • buy the game at participating retailers, in May
  • show the Pokémon Festa event staff your Nintendo Switch with the game, or a PokéBall Plus (May 3rd to May 12th)

Pokémon GO

Research Breakthrough and Egg changes

Niantic have announced that Lugia, Ho-Oh, Latias, and Latios will be available via Research Breakthrough encounters from May 1st to the end of June.

Also, they have announced various Egg-related changes:

  • Different Pokémon will hatch from Eggs starting Apr. 26, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7)
  • Trainers can expect 2 km Eggs to hatch Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Bonsly, and many more.
  • Trainers can expect 5 km Eggs to hatch Cubone, Combee, Buizel, Glameow, Bronzor, Skorupi, Croagunk, and many more.
  • Trainers can expect 10 km Eggs to hatch Mawile, Absol, Shinx, Cranidos, Shieldon, Riolu, and many more.

Special Event (Japan)

A new event for Pokémon GO went live last week, in Japan. It runs until April 30th, and offers the following near the Heisei Net History Exhibit at NHK Osaka:

  • increased Porygon spawns
  • 4-Hour Lure Modules

Pokémon GO Week in Korea

More details have been shared about the Pokémon GO Week in Korea. It will take place from May 4th to May 6th, and will have the following:

  • increased Pokémon spawns across the country
  • increased Unown, Corsola, Combee, and Wailmer spanws at the Starfield Hanam and KOEX areas
