Pokemon Sun and MoonLast week, we finally got our very first look at Pokémon Sun and Moon with several trailers (English one, Japanese one, and a third one from CoroCoro magazine with 2 seconds of extra footage). We finally discovered the three new starters: Rowlet (Grass, Flying), Litten (Fire), and Popplio (Water), along with the duo of Legendary Pokémon.

And today, The Pokémon Company announced via Twitter that some more details about Pokémon Sun and Moon would be revealed on June 2nd. Unfortunately, we don’t quite know what will be revealed, and in which way it will be revealed (trailer? Website update? Livestream? Something else?).

One thing’s for sure: we will not have to wait until the next issue of CoroCoro magazine (who promised a scoop in their next issue) to learn more about this new generation of Pokémon. That being said, it’s not clear if whatever will be revealed on June 2nd is what CoroCoro magazine was teasing in the latest issue, or if it’s something separate (which means we will get a second batch of new details in June).

While we wait for the new details to drop, here’s a 30s version of the Japanese trailer:

Head after the break for the rest of this post!

Finally, here’s the second episode of Pika * Chan, The Pokémon Company’s new web show about the Pokémon series. There’s nothing about Pokémon Sun and Moon in there, but it’s still worth checking out!

Pokémon Sun and Moon (3DS) comes out on November 18th in Japan, North America, and Australia, and November 23rd in Europe.
