Today’s Pokémon news: new content available in Pokémon Shuffle, but also…

  • Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire (manga)
  • Pokémon distribution (N’s Darmanitan)

Pokémon Shuffle

Today, some new content went live for Pokémon Shuffle:

  • a special stage featuring Pikachu (Happy) is now available, until September 20th;
  • a special stage featuring Hitmonchan is now available, until September 20th;
  • the special stage featuring Shaymin Sky Forme is back until September 20th. It allows you to get Shaymin Skill Boosters;
  • the special stage featuring Dusknoir is also back until September 20th. It allows you to get Dusknoir Skill Boosters;
  • the Pokémon Safari featuring Abra, Kadabra, Alazak, Tauros, Oddish, Gloom, and Vileplume is also back. If you have already caught one or all of the Pokémon, you may get EXP Booster S or EXP Booster M instead;
  • several Pokémon can now use Raise Max Levels, and received new Skills (check out source link for more details);
  • 3 new Mission Cards are now available (check out source link for more details).

Also, rewards for the Mega Charizard X challenge are now being sent out. Here’s a reminder of what you can get:

  • Top 1,000 players in Europe, Top 1,600 players in North America, Top 5,000 players in Japan = Charizardite X + Mega Speedup + Skill Swapper
  • Top 4,200 players in Europe, Top 6,400 players in America, Top 20,000 players in Japan = Charizardite X + Mega Speedup
  • Top 13,000 players in Europe, Top 19,000 players in North America, Top 60,000 players in Japan = Charizardite X + Disruption Delay
  • Top 17,000 players in Europe, Top 26,000 players in North America, Top 80,000 players in Japan = Attack Power + Disruption Delay
  • Already have a Charizardite X = Raise Max Level
  • Not ranked = Attack Power

You have until September 9th to get you reward.

Finally, it was announced today that Pokémon Shuffle Mobile had been downloaded over 10 million times (Android and iOS combined)

Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire (manga)

Last week, we learned that VIZ Media was planning to release the official Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire manga (by Satoshi Yamamoto and Hidenori Kusaka) in English. And today, it was announced that the manga has come to an end in Japan, with the 21st chapter (published today).  The manga adaptation debuted in January 2015, and the last book will be released on September 28th, feauturing an epilogue.

Pokémon distribution (N’s Darmanitan)

Did you participate in the Unova Classic, the latest Battle Competition that was held a few days ago? If yes, you might want to log in to the Pokémon Global Link, in order to get your prize: a special Darmanitant, based on N’s Darmanitan. You have to get it before October 24th.
