Pokémon news (Oct. 24) – Pokémon distributions, TCG Online update

Pokémon Gym Expo

On November 19th, the Pokémon Gym Expo will open at Osaka. There, fans will able to take part in various activities, but also get several Pokémon for Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire via serial codes:

  • Charizard (Battle Colosseum)
  • Mapchamp (Aid Center)
  • Smeargle (Promo Studio)
  • Zoroark (Dark Dojo)

And on November 1st, a special app for smartphones will be released for this event. Its features include tracking your progress through the Gym, Augmented Reality, and more.

Pikachu Build-a-Bear

Have you always dreamed to make your very own Pikachu plushie? If yes, then you’ll be glad to hear that it will be possible to do so starting next year at the Build-a-Bear stores across North America, Europe and Australia. You will be able to add a Pokéball hoodie to your plushie (if you order online, you can get a Charizard costume), along with a Pikachu sound chip. By participating in the workshop, you will get a promotional TCG card.

Distributions

Here’s some news regarding distributions:

  • Hoopa is finally available at GAME stores in the United Kingdom, until November 5th. If you go there, you will be able to get a serial code, to be used before January 10th. You can go Hoopa for Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
  • Several Pokémon will be distributed at the Pokémon Gym Expo event (see above for more details).
  • Shiny Rayquaza will be distributed at the Paris Game Week, next week (on October 28 th to November 1st)

Pokémon Trading Card Game Online

The Pokémon Trading Card Game Online for PC and iPad will soon get an update, which will bring:

  • better graphics
  • new functionalities
  • new music
  • the new cards from the BREAKThrough set

Unfortunately, we don’t know when this update will be released.

Battle competition

Battles for the Spooky Cup have started, and will last until October 25th! All participants will get a reward: 10 Rare Candies. Click here for more details.
