Pokémon news (July 5): Pokémon Shuffle / Pokémon Comaster

Today’s Pokémon news:

Pokémon Shuffle

Today, some new content was added to Pokémon Shuffle:

  • a new Escalation Battle featuring Giratina Origin Forme. This one is timed one and goes all the way to Level 300. You can get the following items: Skill Swapper, Raise Max Level, EXP. Boosters, and more. It will be available until July 19th.
  • the special stages featuring Regirock, Regice, and Registeel are back until July 19th.
  • the special stage featuring Celebi is back until July 19th. If you already caught Celebii before, you can get Skill Boosters thanks to this stage.
  • the special stage featuring Jirachi stage will start tomorrow, and remain available until July 9th 2016. You can play it once a day.

Also, rewards are being sent out to players who participated in the Mega Gyarados challenge:

  1. Top 700 players in Europe, Top 3,000 players in Japan = Gyaradosite + Mega Speedup + Raise Max Level
  2. Top 2,500 players in Europe, Top 10,000 players in Japan = Gyaradosite + Mega Speedup
  3. Top 13,000 players in Europe, Top 50,000 players in Japan = Gyaradosite
  4. Top 18,000 players in Europe, Top 70,000 players in Japan = Attack Power + Disruption Delay
  5. Not ranked: Attack Power

You have until July 12th to claim your reward using the check-in feature in-game.

But that’s not all: The Pokémon Company also announced that Pokémon Shuffle Mobile had been downloaded over 8 million times since launch. To celerate, all players who log in before August 2nd will receive 2 000 Coins as a present.

Pokémon Comaster

Today, a new Concept Trevo was added to Pokémon Comaster, called the Top Rankers. As the name implies, it allows you to get figures/plates that the top ranking players are using, such as Mewtwo, Lapras, Poliwag and Palkia (even if they cannot be obtained using the regular Trevo). It will be available until July 12th.
