Pokémon news (Dec 17): free theme for Super Mystery Dungeon (EU), trailer for latest movie
Pokémon The Movie
Pokémon The Movie XY & Z is the temporary title of the latest Pokémon movie, which will hit theatres on July 16th in Japan. It will feature Volcanion, which was recently revealed via CoroCoro magazine, and on the official website. This morning, the very first trailer for that movie was shown during the Oha Suta show.
It starts by showing various Pokémon, such as Xerneas, Yveltal, Diancie, Hoopa, Complete Forme Zygarde, and obviously Volcanion itself. Unfortunately, it doesn’t show much, which isn’t all that surprising since the movie won’t be hit theatres for another seven months.

Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon
When Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon came out in Japan and North America (in September and November respectively), users buying the game at launch via the Nintendo eShop were able to get a download code for a free Nintendo 3DS Theme. Good news for European fans: a similar offer will also be available in Europe when the game launches, on February 19th!

Pokkén Tournament
Yesterday, Bandai-Namco announced two special events for Pokkén Tournament in Arcades. There’s two periods:
- December 18th – 27th
- December 28th – January 11th
Here’s the details:
- you can get special clothes for your character if you manage to get your Sceptile up to Level 15 before January 11th
- you can get Farfetch’d and Electrode as assist Pokémon, and Christmas avatar, bonuses (Party hats, special titles), if you use your BANA Passport between December 18th – 27th
- if you log in during Christmas, you will get some Santa Claus costumes
