Pokémon The Movie: English title and trailer for the latest movie, Volcanion distribution

Today, The Pokémon Company sent a press to reveal the English title for the latest Pokémon movie. It will be called Pokémon The Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel. They also shared an English-dubbed teaser trailer, which can be found just below.

Right now, it’s not clear when and how the movie will debut (although we do know that some European countries and North America will get the movie first), but we can definitely expect the usual debut on Cartoon Network later this year.

Here’s the English-dubbed teaser trailer for Pokémon The Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel:

Here’s the official synopsis in English:

Ash meets the Mythical Pokémon when it crashes down from the sky, creating a cloud of dust—and a mysterious force binds the two of them together! Volcanion despises humans and tries to get away, but it’s forced to drag Ash along as it continues its rescue mission.

They arrive in a city of cogs and gears, where a corrupt minister has stolen the ultimate invention: the Artificial Pokémon Magearna, created 500 years ago. He plans to use its mysterious power to take control of this mechanical kingdom! Can Ash and Volcanion work together to rescue Magearna? One of the greatest battles in Pokémon history is about to unfold!

Also, it was announced that Volcanion would be distributed for Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire in October in Europe and North America (we can expect the movie to debut around that time). It will be distributed via a Serial Code, available at the following stores:

  • United States: GameStop
  • Germany: GameStop
  • Italy: GameStop
  • Other countries: TBC, but we can expect the same stores as previous distributions

Here’s some details about this special Volcanion:

  • Level: 70
  • Moves: Steam Eruption, Flamethrower, Hydro Pump, Explosion
  • Item: Assault Vest

And finally, talking of Volcanion, here’s two videos for the latest Pokémon TCG expansion:
