P&D Super Mario Bros. Edition: details about Score Attack, StreetPass + screens
Today, GungHo revealed some new details about Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition, including the Score Attack Mode. In this mode, you play with a fixed team, and you have 300 seconds in order to get the best score possible. There’s three difficulties: Normal, Hard, and Extra.
The rank you get goes from SSS to D, and depends on the clear time and the amount of combos you managed to pull off. Of course, the score of friends is displayed in-game, so you can try and compete with them.
Next, several communication features are detailed:
– Friend Cards: a card with your nickname, a message, info about your team, your favorite character and your score attack results;
– Local Wireless;
– StreetPass: you can get assist characters by meeting other players via StreetPass. The character you get is the one featured on the Friend Card.
Finally, GungHo reveals a feature called “Awakening Skills”. During battles, only the Leader and Assist characters can use skills, but if you go and visit Dora at one of the Toad Houses, you can “awaken” the skills of minions in order to get various effects in battle.
