Nintendo news (Oct. 20): Luigi’s Mansion / Super Mario Odyssey

Today’s Nintendo news: European launch trailer for Luigi’s Mansion, but also…

  • Super Mario Odyssey
  • Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country
  • Nintendo Selects (Australia)
  • Kirby Star Allies
  • Dragalia Lost

Luigi’s Mansion

Here’s the European launch trailer for Luigi’s Mansion:

Luigi’s Mansion (3DS) comes out on November 8th in Japan.

Super Mario Odyssey

Earlier this week, the latest Special Outfit was added to Super Mario Odyssey: Zombie Headwear & Zombie Outfit. As usual, you first have to clear the main story, and then head over to any good Crazy Cap store to buy it. But this week, it’s not just a costume that we get: Nintendo also added three new filters for Snapshot Mode (Manga, Tile, and Kaleidoscope)!

Here’s some pictures for the new Special Outfit and the new filters:

Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country

Good news for fans of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 that also happen to love karaoke: A Moment of Eternity (by Jen Bird and Yasunori Mitsuda), the ending song of Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country, is now available in Karaoke Joysound in Japan!

Nintendo Selects (Australia)

Today, Nintendo announced that two more games will be added to the Nintendo Selects range on November 2nd, in Australia: Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS and Tomodachi Life. The former is already available as Nintendo Selects in Europe, but not the latter (most likely because it’s still selling significant amounts every quarter). However, it’s not clear if and when it will be added to the range in that region.

Here’s the boxart for the two games:

Nintendo Selects: Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Selects: Tomodachi Life (3DS) come out on November 2nd in Australia. The Upcoming Games page has been updated!

Kirby Star Allies

The latest video clip from the official Kirby account in Japan showcases a neat aspect of the Far-Flung – Starlight Heroes: as you get closer to the Jambandra Base, the theme of that level gradually changes and becomes more ominous!

Listen for yourself:

Dragalia Lost

Here’s the second episode of Dragalia Radio Castle, the official Dragalia Lost webradio:

Dragalia Lost (Android, iOS) still doesn’t have a release date outside Japan, the United States, Maccau, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
