Nintendo @ PAX East 2019
Yesterday, Nintendo of America shared their plans for PAX East 2019, which takes place from March 28th to March 31st, in Boston.
First, there’s the previously final events for the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate North America Open 2019 and Splatoon 2 North America Inkling Open 2019, both taking palce on March 30th at the PAX Arena. As long as you have a PAX East Saturday badge, you will be able to attend (as spectator) for free, but only on a first-come, first-served basis. If you cannot attend the events, don’t worry: both will be livestreamed on this website.
Nintendo will also have not one, but two booths, allowing visitors to check out various first and third-party games coming soon to the Nintendo Switch:
- Booth 18055
- Yoshi’s Crafted World
- DRAGON QUEST BUILDERS 2 from SQUARE ENIX
- A selection of anticipated indie games
- Booth 20061
- Mortal Kombat 11 from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment
- Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night from 505 Games
- Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice from Ninja Theory
- Assassin’s Creed III Remastered from Ubisoft
Finally, there will be some activities, starting with a photo opportunity inspired by Yoshi’s Crafted World, as well as mini-challenge competitions in this game and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. If you participate, you will be able to receive some prizes (while supplies last, obviously)!

Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Last week, Nintendo shared more details about the Limited Edition for Fire Emblem: Three Houses in Japan. Just like in Europe and North America, it includes a CD, with a selection of tracks. One of them is none other than the main theme, which doesn’t have a title yet (it will be revealed at a later date).
Just like the one for Fire Emblem Fates, this main theme has two versions: Japanese and English versions. And yesterday, Nintendo shared the English one over on Twitter:
If you didn’t check our post about the Japanese Limited Edition, here’s the Japanese version of the main theme:
Unfortunately, we don’t know who is the singer for either versions of the main theme… No doubt their name will be revealed whenever Intelligent Systems and Nintendo feel like revealing the title of the song!
Fire Emblem: Three Houses (Switch) comes out on July 26th worldwide.
