Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Yesterday, Nitnendo of America revealed a brand new commercial for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Here it is:

At first glance, there doesn’t seem to be anything special about this commercial, just the usual lifestyle CM we’ve already seen so many times before. But if you look closely at the very beginning, you can see there’s a “Stage Builder” icon in the main menu of the game:

We already know that a major Software update is in the works (Ver. 3.0.0), but we still don’t know what it will include (other than the contents of the first DLC pack). It looks like Stage Builder is one of the new features, though we don’t know much about it. It’s also not clear whether this is all a clever bit of teasing from Nintendo, or a blunder, but the fact that the commercial is still live on YouTube indicates it’s most likely the former.

Since the Ver. 3.0.0 update is slated for an April release, it’s pretty safe to expect an announcement about it in the very near future!
