Nintendo: new maintenance page launched

Nintendo NetworkToday, Nintendo launched Nintendo the Nintendo Accounts in Japan, and the official website got a major redesign. It now allows users to buy games directly from the website, thanks to their Nintendo Accounts (only if it’s been linked with a Nintendo Network ID). But it’s not the only thing Nintendo updated today…

Indeed, Nintendo redesigned the maintenance page, which now displays the following:

  • Server Operational Status: tells you if services are running properly or if some of them are down;
  • View Past Maintenance Information: lists the times online servers were down;
  • Maintenance Information: shows server maintenance Nintendo is performing right now;
  • Future Maintenance Schedule: lists upcoming server maintenance;
  • View Completed Maintenance: lists past server maintenance.

Of course, we will keep posting regular updates when new maintenance is announced (along with our notices tweet on Twitter)!
