[N-Direct] Picross 3D Round 2 announced, out in North America, December in Europe

A few months ago, Picross 3D 2 was rated in Europe, but that rating was promptly removed. Fast forward a few months later, and Picross 3D Round 2 was announced during today’s Nintendo 3DS Direct.

In fact, it’s already available in North America via the Nintendo eShop (it costs $29.99), along with a demo. In Europe, there will also be a retail release, but both physical and digital releases will have to wait until December 2nd. There’s no doubt the demo will also be released on the European Nintendo eShop, but closer to launch (like for Rhythm Paradise Megamix).

In this game, you use numbers to solve puzzles, and reveal 3D objects. There’s over 300 puzzles to taclke, along with some you can unlock using some compatible amiibo (click here for more details). This time around, blocks can be painted with two colours, leading to even more elaborate objects.

Picross 3D Round 2 also features several difficulty levels, and therefore several solutions. If you’re a true fan, there’s no doubt you will play the puzzles several times to get all possible solutions!

Live in Europe, and want your Picross 3D fix now? No problem: the original is now available on the Wii U Virtual Console! It costs 6.99€/ £6.29.

Finally, here’s both segments for Picross 3D Round 2, from the European and North American presentations:
