Monster Hunter X: new details (outraged monsters), pictures, footage, more

Monster Hunter XToday is an important day for Monster Hunter fans, as the demo for Monster Hunter X is now available on the Nintendo eShop in Japan! To download it, you need 1861 blocks / 232MB of free space on your SD Card. You will get access to three quests:

  • Nargacuga
  • Hororo-Horuru
  • Dosu Maccau

Monster Hunter X DemoBut that’s not all: Famitsu magazine is out, with even more details about the game. This time around, the focus is on the outraged/vicious monsters, a new kind of “status” that makes monsters even more dangerous than usual. As usual, Gaijin Hunter has prepared a really neat video with all the details from the Famitsu article.

The following video showcases some of the bonus content you can unlock in Monster Hunter X if you have a save file from Monster Hunter Diary Poka-Poka Airou Village DX on your Nintendo 3DS:

  • a special Palico, wearing a Baby Tigrex costume;
  • the necessary materials to craft a special armour for your hunter;
  • 10 drinks;
  • special titles (Poka Poka, Felyne, Friend and Palico);
  • a special Monster Hunter Diary-themed background for your Guild Card.
