Naturally, both Nintendo Accounts and My Nintendo will go live on the same day in Europe and North America. In a press release, Nintendo even gives more details about the web eShop, which will be available via Nintendo’s website in Europe and North America (just like in Japan).
As you can imagine, all games available on the Nintendo eShop will be purchasable via Nintendo’s website. This is pretty important for North America, as until now, only Nintendo titles and Virtual Console games were available. In Europe, there was no web eShop whatsoever (only a page to redeem download code), so it will a brand new experience for European users.
Of course, the web eShop does not replace the usual Nintendo eShop, especially since it looks like only full games are available, not DLC or demos for example. Also, it will be possible to pre-purchase games (as long as that features is available, since not all games can be pre-purchased).
As for My Nintendo, it will be available on this website (time unconfirmed in North America, early afternoon in Europe). Obviously, all purchases made via Nintendo’s website will allow you to earn My Nintendo Gold Points, and you don’t have to go through the Nintendo eShop on Wii U or Nintendo 3DS for that.
Finally, Nintendo of Europe confirms that Flipnote Studio 3D will be available from March 31st in Europe. To get it, you will need to use the download option on this page between March 31st and April 30th. You will also need 76 blocks / 9.5MB of free space on your SD card in order to download it. Naturally, you will need a Nintendo Account linked to a Nintendo Network ID to get the free piece of software.
