Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – US Sales
Today, Nintendo sent a press release to announce that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sold over 459 000 units (retail + digital) in the United States… on launch day alone. That makes it the fastest-selling game in the Mario Kart series, beating Mario Kart Wii and its 433 900 units sold on launch day in 2008.
The attach-rate for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is 45%, which means that almost half of all Nintendo Switch owners in the United States bought the game at launch.
