The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Master Works – More details and preview pages
Last month, on December 15th, the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Master Works was released in Japan. It’s the last book released as part of the Legend of Zelda 30th Anniversary celebrations, and as the name implies, it’s all about the latest entry in the Legend of Zelda series (unlike the previous ones, that were about the Legend of Zelda series as a whole).
The The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Master Works book is made of 3 main chapters:
- Chapter 1: Artworks
This chapter has various artworks, including key visuals and illustrations used for magazines in Europe and North America, but also all the pieces of artworks created for the game.
For example, this illustration was used for the packaging of the Limited Edition of the game in North America:
- Chapter 2: Making
This chapter has various design materials about the game, including some never-before-seen concept-art and artworks. They’ve been put in several categories: characters, equipment, and regions.
- Chapter 3: History
This chapter is going to be the most interesting for many fans, as it contains various details about the story and “History” of the game. It allows readers to get a good grasp on the events of the game.
The book has no less than 416 pages, and in full colour obviously. Besides the 3 chapters described above, there’s also an interview with the development team, including Eiji Aonuma (Producer of the Legend of Zelda series). And in case you’re wondering: yes, the Champions’ Ballad DLC is also in this book!
