[Japan] Nintendo eShop: Sales Rankings for 2025 (Switch, Switch 2)

In Japan, Nintendo regularly shares the monthly Top 20 Software for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on its website. The company also shares charts for the full Year, and the first half of the year, and it’s the former we got today!

The Top 20 below list the best-selling games on the Nintendo eShop between January and December 2025, and only covers paid downloads from the Nintendo eShop and the My Nintendo Store in Japan (which excludes Free 2 Play titles, obviously, but also games rated above CERO Rating Z / IARC 16).

The rankings are based on the revenue for each game, with the Nintendo Switch 2 one including copies from Nintendo Switch 2 bundles (Mario Kart World and Pokémon Legends: Z-A Nintendo Switch 2 Edition). For games with multiple versions (bundles, Deluxe Editions), only the highest-ranking version is listed.
