  • Added a new item: “Sprinkler”
    • The Sprinkler is a reward for reaching 100% Trust with the Shopkeeper.
    • Once you receive this reward, additional Sprinklers will be available for purchase at the shop.
  • Added Koi to the pond.

■ Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug causing the game to freeze when attempting to create new pottery while having many unfinished or finished pottery items.
  • Fixed a bug causing the player to become unable to move while setting up the Museum.
  • Fixed an issue where the game would become unresponsive if the menu was opened before the guidebook finished closing when using a controller.
  • Fixed a bug where the guidebook remained on screen after a forced sleep event.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented fishing under certain conditions.
  • Optimized the processing of in-game button inputs.
  • Fixed an issue related to holding and operating the lamp during nighttime.
  • Fixed a display bug in the list of carp varieties when releasing or swapping them in the pond.
  • Fixed a bug in cooking and pottery minigames where liquid ingredients could be “sprinkled” by pressing the R button.

How to download updates for Japanese Rural Life Adventure on Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Japanese Rural Life Adventure, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
