Top 5 Software
Splatoon 3 had an extremely strong debut, with nearly 3 million units sold at retail alone (check out this post for comments on launch week sales). It should have no trouble keeping the top spot in October! With 2 743 135 units sold during its launch month, Splatoon 3 did better than Animal Crossing: New Horizons during its own launch month (2 608 000 units sold, though that’s only two weeks of sales).
As for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R, it sold 39 000 units across all platforms.

As expected, the launch of Splatoon 3 had an extremely positive impact on sales with nearly 500 000 units sold. Nintendo really did ship many more units to retailers (and especially the Splatoon 3 OLED Model)! Total sales have now topped 26 million units since launch.
