Yooka-Laylee
What better to kick off the gamescom 2016 than with a brand new trailer for Yooka-Laylee? If you think nothing is more than important than that, here’s the trailer for you to enjoy while it’s still pipping hot!
This new trailer shows quite a bit of new content, ranging from never-before-seen levels to new enemies, abilities, and more.
Talking of gamescom 2016, some developers from Playtonic Games are attending. In the past few days, they let some members of the press try out the game, which means you should be expecting another round of previews and gameplay videos starting today. What they got to play was an edited version of the game’s first world, Tribalstack Tropics.
In a blog post, the developers also mention the fantastic reponse to the Toybox, released a few days ago exclusively for some Kickstarter backers. Naturally, they have been paying a lot of attention to all the feedback, that they will use to improve the final game.
Right now, development for Yooka-Laylee is entering the polish stage, and everyone at Playtonic Games is hard at work to make sure the game is “as sparkly as possible” when it comes out in Q1 2017.
Yooka-Laylee (Wii U eShop) will be released in Q1 2017 in Europe and North America.

On Monday, Brainseed Factory released Typoman: Revised on PC (via Steam). If you’re wondering whether the developers have any plan for a Wii U version, the answer is… yes! Unfortunately, they can’t promise anything yet, due to limited resources. If you want Typoman: Revised on Wii U, letting the developers know would be good start!
it's on our todo list and we'd love to release Typoman: Revised on the Wii U but can't promise yet due to limited resources.
