Yesterday, a new blog post was posted on the official blog of The Binding of Isaac. It reveals that the console version of The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth is now complete, and has been submitted to certification. As soon as the game has been approved for release, a release date will be posted on the official website. In other words: we only have a few days left before we know when the game will be available on Wii U!

forma.8

Yesterday evening, the developers of forma.8 posted the second Dev. Diary for the game: you can click here to check it out! This time around, they’re talking about the 3D assets, which are used for creatures, enemies and interactive structures. Just like last time, things get a tad technical, so make sure you keep that in mind if you’re going to read the dev. diary!

Head after the break for the rest of this post!

Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs

Today, the developers of Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs posted another Kickstarter update for the game. They revealed the number of supporters for each platform:

1. Sega Dreamcast: 415
2. PC/Steam: 297
3. Nintendo 3DS: 196
4. NEC PC Engine: 170

They also revealed the amount of money pledged for each platform:

1. Dreamcast
2. Steam/PC Win/Mac/Linux
3. PC Engine
4. Nintendo 3DS

Due to the Dreamcast platform being so popular, the developers made some changes to development. At first, they had one engine for the Nintendo 3DS version, and then the game would be ported to Unity for the PC release. But now, they are working with a brand new engine supporting more platforms.

A Wii U port is possible, but if they chose to port the game to that platform, that would be after the Kickstarter goals are finished.

You can find more details on the game’s Kickstarter page!

ReVeN

Earlier this week, the developers of ReVen posted an update on Kickstarter, to announced that the game was now coming out sometime in 2017. This is due to them working on another game (XBridge), because the money they got through the Kickstarter isn’t nearly enough to develop a game.
