Nintendo Badge Arcade: new update available in North America (Ver. 1.3.1)

Nintendo Badge ArcadeToday, Nintendo Badge Arcade was down for maintenance for several hours in North America, in preparation of the first Software update for that region. The arcade is now open for business again, and naturally, before the bunny lets you in, you will first need to download the update.

What does the update do? It brings Nintendo Badge Arcade to Ver. 1.3.1. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like there’s anything really interesting in store with this update… in fact, the sales bunny doesn’t even know what it does exactly. In other words: it’s just a stability update, and Nintendo didn’t really want to say what was fixed and/or modified!

Here’s some screencaps:

To download this update, you can launch Nintendo Badge Arcade while being connected to the internet. It should take a few moments to download, and then you will get to discover the latest selection of new badges. Alternatively, you can go on the Nintendo eShop and search for Nintendo Badge Arcade, or use the option in the Nintendo eShop settings. We recommend the second method, as the first one kept giving us errors!
