Inazuma Walker (March 2019): Inazuma Eleven Ares Footage, Inazuma Eleven SD announced (mobile)

Today, roughly 4 months after the previous one, the latest Inazuma Walker presentation was livestreamed on YouTube (and NicoNico). This was another important one, since we not only got to see more footage of Inazuma Eleven Ares on Nintendo Switch, but a brand new game was announced… for Android and iOS.

The video for Inazuma Eleven Ares was, unfortunately, pre-recorded (it wasn’t played live during the livestream). Footage is from the World Hobby Fair ’19 Winter events, which took place earlier this year in several countries across Japan (which means the build showcased is relatively recent).

Here’s the new footage for Inazuma Eleven Ares (we also included the previous one from March 2018):

Also, a brand new game was announced: Inazuma Eleven SD (title is still TBA). It’s for mobile devices (Android and iOS, as usual), and does not have a release date yet.

Here’s some footage from the Inazuma Walker presentation (again, this is pre-recorded footage):

In case you missed the presentation, you can watch the full recording on YouTube:

Finally, here’s a quick rundown of the presentation for those who don’t have time to watch the whole thing (without going into too much details, unfortunately).

The first part was the results of the Character Contest announced during the November presentation. They began with showing some of the creations they received from fans:

And after that, they showed the two winning entries (winner will see their character appear in the anime, and will get a pendant):

During the second part, they discussed what’s coming next to the Inazuma Eleven: Orion no Kokuin anime:

  • they showed illustrations of the various characters, to be used in the next Ending (presumably debuting in April)
  • they revealed a new team soon appearing in the anime: Team America. Four players were specifically were showcased: Domon Asuka, Ichinose Kasuya, Mark Greggor, and Dylan Keith
  • a new character was revealed: Floy
  • it was announced that two characters will soon be “reborn”:

Finally, it was announced that a blog would be open soon, for Level-5 to shared news. Said blog isn’t live yet, so we will wait for it to be launched first before writing about it.

Inazuma Eleven Ares (Switch) comes out later this year in Japan.
