Fire Emblem Heroes: latest events and content updates (July 2017)

On February 2nd, Nintendo launched Fire Emblem Heroes on Android and iOS (click here to check out everything you need to know about it). Just like all Free 2 Play games worth their salt, Nintendo is planning to provide users with regular content, events, and updates, in order to make sure they keep playing as long as possible.

In this post, we’re going to list all the events and content updates for Fire Emblem Heroes in July 2017, so that you can find all those details in one place. For the latest events and content updates, check out this post!

July 1st

[Event] The Final Round of the “War of the Clerics” Voting Gauntlet is now live. Time to claim your rewards for Round 2, and head to the Final Round! (available until July 3rd)
[Quests] A new set of Special Quests is now available: Voting Gauntlet. It allows you to get Battle Flags, to use during the “War of the Clerics” Voting Gauntlet (available until July 3rd)
[Quests] Not 1, but 3 new set of Special Quests is now available: July Quests (1), (2), and (3). It allows you to get various bonuses, such as Orbs, Shards, and more (available until August 1st)

July 3rd

[Event] The “War of the Clerics” Voting Gauntlet is now over. Time to claim your rewards for the Final Round!
[Summoning Focus] A new Summoning Focus is now available: Resonating Fangs Tempest Trials. It includes the following characters: Alm, Mae, Boey, and Faye (more details added to this page) (available until July 21st)

July 4th

[Quests] The third set of weekly Special Quests for the Arena is now live (available until July 11th)
[Arena] The latest set of Bonus Heroes is now available: Gaius (Summer), Frederick (Summer), Robin (Summer), Tiki (Summer), Legion, Peri, Sakura, Sophia, Gunter, Alfonse (available until July 18th?)
[Log-in Bonus] The final overall score for the War of the Clerics Voting Gauntlet event is 141 940 296 724, way above the required 10 billion. Therefore, all players get 10 Orbs and 10 000 Universal Crystals as reward, as a special log-in bonus (available until July 18th)

July 6th

[Summoning Focus] A new Summoning Focus is now available: “Alm and Celica’s Battle”. It features the following characters: Genny, Lukas, and Clair (more details have been added to this post) (available until July 13th)
[Maps] A new type of Special Map is now available: the Bond Hero Battles. They have two special rules: all your allies need to survive, and you cannot use a Light’s Blessing or Orbs to continue. The first one features Alm and Celia, with Lunatic and Infernal difficulty levels (available until July 13th)
[Log-in Bonus] A new Special Log-in bonus is now available to celebrate the release of Ver. 1.5.0: 2 Orbs every day! (available until July 20th)

July 7th

[Events] The second Tempest Trials event, called Resonating Fangs, is now live. Click here to find out everything you need to know about it!
[Events] Every week-end, you can get twice the usual amount of SP in battle (applies to Story Maps, Arena, etc.) thanks to the SP X2 Event (available from Friday to Sunday)
[Quests] During the second Tempest Trials events, a new set of Daily Special Quests is available every day, with rewards doubled from July 14th to July 21st. Click here for more details (available until July 21st)
[Update] A new update is now available (Ver. 1.5.1), fixing an issue with Log-in Bonuses. Details are available in this post!

July 10th

[Summoning Focus] A new Summoning Focus went live today: Heroes with Hone Atk. It features the following characters: Nino, Sanaki, and Corrin (more details have been added to this page) (available until July 24th)

July 11th

[Maps] A new set of Special Maps featuring the Heroes of Kotaro Yamada (who made the Fire Emblem, Hasha no Tsurugi manga) is now available. More details can be found in this post! (available until July 25th)
[Quests] A new set of Special Quests related to the Kotaro Yamada Special maps is now available (available until July 25th)

July 13th

[Log-in Bonus] As an apology for the glitch preventing some users from receiving their Log-in bonuses (fixed with the release of Ver. 1.5.1), all players can now get10 Orbs as a special, one-time Log-in Bonus (available until July 27th)
[Summoning Focus] Two new Summoning Focuses are now live: Alm’s Army and Celica’s Army. They feature the following characters: Leon, Saber, Sonya, Mathilda, Gray, and Delthea (check out this post and this one for more details) (available until July 28th)
[Maps] A new Story Chapter is now available: Bitter Enemies. It comes with a new My Nintendo mission, allowing you to claim 100 Platinum Coins by clearing it;
[Quests] A new set of Special Quests is now available “Bitter Enemies”. It allows you to get some extra Orbs (available until July 28th)

July 14th

[Quests] Starting today, and until the end of the event, the rewards for the Special Quests tied to the second Tempest Trials event have been doubled (until July 21st)

July 18th

[Hero Battle] The next Grand Hero Battle is now live. It features Berkut (from Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia). More details will be available soon, but we expect players to be able to get a ★3 version of that character by clearing the map on Hard, a ★4 version on Expert, and a ★4 version + some Hero Feathers when cleared on Infernal (character added to this page!) (available until July 25th)
[Arena] The next set of Bonus Characters for the Arena is now live. HIt features the following Heroes: Delthea, Mathilda, Gray, Saber, Sonya, Leon, Clarisse, Virion, Cecilia, Sharena (available until August 1st?)

July 20th

[Summoning Focus] A new Summoning Focus is now available: “Focus: Cavalry”. It features the following characters: Eldigan, Owlen, and Titania. More details have been added to this page! (available until August 5th)
[Quests] A new set of Special Quests related to the new Summoning Focus, called “Cavalry Mastery”, is now available. It allows you to get some bonus Orbs and crystals (available until August 5th)
[Log-in Bonus] Starting today, all players can get 2 bonus Orbs each day, as part of the Summer Log-in Bonus event (available until July 27th)

July 24th

[Summoning Focus] A new Summoning Focus is now available: “Heroes with Quick Riposte*”. It features the following characters: Leo, Subaki, and Klein. More details have been added to this post! (available until August 4th)

* Quick Riposte is skill that allows a unit to use a follow up attack if it’s attacked by the enemy and only if its own HP are over a certain amount. Basically, it gives you a Double Counter.

July 25th

[Hero Battle] The Grand Hero Battle feat. Lloyd is back. This time around, it has an additional difficulty level: Infernal (that was introduced after Lloyd’s first Grand Hero Battle). You can get a ★3 version of that character by clearing the map on Hard, a ★4 version on Expert, and a ★4 version + some Hero Feathers when cleared on Infernal (character added to this page!) (available until July 31st)
[Quests] A new set of Special Quests is now available: “Grand Hero Battle”. It allows you to get some extra Orbs, and a ★3 version of Lloyd.

July 28th

[Livestream] A new Feh Channel presentation was streamed today. It shared the latest info about the game, introducing the various new features and contents coming soon, including the upcoming Ver. 1.6.0. It lasts 17 minutes in total, and is packed with announcements: check out this post for the full rundown!
[Summoning Focus] A new Summoning Focus is now available: “Nohrian Summer”. It includes the following characters: Summer versions of Elise, Corrin, Xander, and Leo. More details have been added to this page (available until August 31st)
[Maps] A new Paralogue Story is now available: “Nohrian Summer”, featuring 3 maps: ??? (no end date)
[Quests] A new set of Special Quests is now available: “Nohrian Summer” (available until August 31st)
[Log-in Bonus] To celebrate the start of the new Summoning Focus, all players get 2 Orbs every day for a limited time (until August 4th)

July 29th

[Event] To celebrate the second Feh Channel presentation and the Nohrian Summer Summoning Focus, a Retweet event is now live. Basically, all you have to do is RT the tweets below, and… that’s it! If total retweets for all the tweets combined top 10 000, then all players will get 5 Orbs as Special Log-in Bonus, at a later date (available until July 31st).

July 30th

[Event] The August calendars/wallpapers from the Choose your Legends event are now available!
