Today, Nintendo streamed the second Feh Channel presentation for Fire Emblem Heroes, detailing the various changes and new features coming soon to the game. This one was not only available in English (unlike last time), but it was also much longer, with much more content.

If you missed it, no problem! You can watch the recording on YouTube:

The first announcement is a new Bond Hero Battle, featuring Cecilia and Lilina. Just like last time, it will allow you to get Orbs if you clear the map (with several difficulty levels available too). It will go live on August 7th.

The second announcement is a new Grand Hero Battle, featuring Valter: the Dark Moonstone (from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones), who knows the unique skill Cursed Lance (that only him knows). It will go live in late August.

The third announcement is a new Tempest Trials event, that was teased at the end of the previous one. It’s called Reunited at Last, and is once again about Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. Among the rewards is a brand new 5 ★ character (did you recognise him in the presentation?).

Some new features and changes are coming to Tempest Trials:

  • Continuous Auto: you enable in the Settings menu. It carries across multiple maps if you want, and you can set it so that it’s activated until you’ve cleared the whole set of map, or just one.
  • Team Management system: allows you to create up to 10 reserve teams.
  • New Stages, with Foes around Level 10 (perfect for low level Heroes).
  • Score Bonus: each day, you get x3 points the first two times you head into battle.
  • Stat Boost for Bonus Allies: you get 10pt bonus HP, and 4pt bonus for all other stats, when you use Bonus Heroes. You also get x2 EXP and SP!

This third Tempest Trials event will go live on August 11th.

Next, the developers introduced the many new features and changes coming to Fire Emblem Heroes as part of the Ver. 1.6.0 update:

  • New Arena Mode, called Arena Assault. In this one, after clearing map, you go straight to the next battle. It’s for experienced players looking for a challenge, and high-scores! An important detail to keep in mind with this mode: you need to use a different team for each map, and each Hero can only be used once… you will need lots of Heroes to tackle this mode! But that’s not all: there’s also special items to use in battle, such as one that restores HP, or one that deals damages to enemies: you can take up to 3 of them with you.The good news is, you don’t need Stamina and Dueling Swrods for Arena Assault. Also, just like the regular Arena, the rewards you get depends on your rank. In this mode, you will get some Sacred Coins as reward, but we don’t quite know what they do yet.
  • Catalog of Heroes: a list of absolutely all the heroes you’ve met while playing Fire Emblem Heroes. If you tap one, you can see details about them, rewatch their Summoning Sequence, listen to voice clips, see battle animations, and more!
  • Max Hero Merit limit has been raised from 2 000 to 3 000
  • Improvements to the Training Tower
  • Boosts to EXP and SP in the Arena

Fire Emblem Heroes Ver. 1.6.0 will go live on August 8th.

But wait, there’s more! Another Summoning Focus was announced, and it’s another one featuring Special Heroes. Called Nohrian Summer, it’s the Fire Emblem Fates equivalent of the Ylissean Summer Summoning Focus. It features the following characters:

  • Elise, the Tropical Flower (from Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest). Voiced by Liv Strander. Artist: Mikuro;
  • Xander, the Student Swimmer (from Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest). Voiced by George Spelvin. Artist: PenekoR;
  • Leo, the Seashore’s Prince (from Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest). Voiced by Max Mittelman. Artist: Tobi;
  • Corrin, the Novice Vacationer (from Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest). Voiced by Marcella Lentz-Pope. Artist: Sencha.

As usual, this new Summoning Focus comes with a new Paralogue Story, called “Nohrian Summer”, and a new set of Special Quests! Everything will be available until August 31st (with the exception of the Paralogue Story, which stays permanently). Oh, did we mention it was available starting… today (July 28th)?

Think this was it for this second Feh Channel presentation? Nope, there’s more! Next, we have the latest Voting Gauntlet, which pits the two waves of Summer Heroes against each other. It will go live on August 1st!

Finally, we have the Fire Emblem Heroes Six-Month Anniversary Celebrations, which go live on August 2nd. Here’s everything you will be able to get during this special event:

  • Log-in bonus. Instead of Daily rewards, you get 2 Orbs each time you log-in, up to 10 times. In other words, you can get up to 20 Orbs that way. There will be two windows for that (allowing you to get 40 Orbs in total!): August 7th to August 22nd, and August 22nd to September 11th.
  • Quests and Special Maps, with Daily Training Tower quests, Extra Sacred Seals quests, Turn Limit Special Maps, and Daily Special Maps.
  • Starter Support Event, with another Hero Fest allowing you to summong Great Heroes at 5% drop rate. What kind of Heroes exactly? You will have to wait to find out! There will also be another Log-in Bonus, allowing you to get 20 Orbs in total (so 60 Orbs with the Log-in Bonus above). It will go live on August 10th

Finally, there’s one last minute surprise… starting from August 7th, the appearance rate for 4 ★ and 3 ★ Heroes will be swapped:

  • 3★ will have 36% appearance rate
  • 4 ★ will have 58% appearance rate.

But that’s not all (yes, it really isn’t)! Starting from August 7th, you get one, free Summoning for each Summoning Focus. That’s right: you will get one free Hero from each new focus, and who knows, you may end up pulling a 5 ★ Focus for free!

As usual, more details about each event will be added to the Events and Content updates and/or List of Heroes pages, so stay tuned!
