Fire Emblem Heroes: early details about the next Software update (Weapon Refinery)

Another month, another Software update for Fire Emblem Heroes! As usual, the developers have shared some details about the next one, but this time around, the notification is pretty short… Indeed, all we get is details about the usual Weapon Refinery update, and… nothing else!

Fire Emblem Heroes Weapons

With this update, the following character-specific skills will be added (can be learned at 5 ★):

  • Golden Dagger (Saber: Driven Mercenary)
  • Shanna’s Lance (Shanna: Sprightly Flier)
  • Florina’s Lance (Florina: Lovely Flier)
  • Axe of Virility (Bartre: Fearless Warrior)

Once obtained, those skills can be upgraded at the Weapon Refinery.

And… that’s all we know about this new update. The official patch notes for it will be added to this page as soon as they’re available.

Unfortunately, no other details are provided about this update, which will be released sometime in November. This lack of details is certainly suspicious, as the developers have always been pretty open about the content of upcoming Software updates in the past…

During the latest meeting with investors, Shuntaro Furukawa revealed that a big Software update (Ver. 3.0) would be released “around the end of the year”. Could the next update be that one? It certainly seems to be the case: the lack of details about the contents of the update, combined with the fact that Book II of the main story has already ended and that Book III is still nowhere to be seen, do point towards the next update not being a regular one.

In all likelihood, a new Feh Channel presentation will be announced pretty soon, but in the mean time, we can only wait before finding out what the developers have in store for Fire Emblem Heroes!

As usual, don’t forget the check out the Events and Content Updates and Characters pages to keep up to date with all that’s happening in Fire Emblem Heroes!
