[Update] Fire Emblem Fates to get some additional maps as DLC, first ones available today

Update

The last batch of DLC maps for Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright and Conquest is now available in Japan. It’s possible Nintendo will release more in the upcoming weeks/months, but nothing has been announced so far.

Fire Emblem Fates boxartsOn July 9th, Nintendo released the third route for Fire Emblem Fates, which is available as DLC (2 000 Yen). It’s a rather meaty DLC, said to be as long as the other two routes (which are already as long as Fire Emblem Awakening on their own), but that doesn’t mean the game will not get any additional DLC…

In fact, Nintendo confirmed it a while ago: Fire Emblem Fates will still get additional maps as DLC, just like in Fire Emblem Awakening. In total, Nintendo will release 7 maps, which come with additional characters. They each cost 300 Yen (with the exception of the first one, which is available for free, and the last one which will cost 500 Yen). There’s even a pack with all DLC maps, available for 2 000 Yen (without any discount whatsoever!).

Here’s the planning for the DLC:

Today

– Encounter with the Awakening, with characters from Fire Emblem Awakening (Free)
– The Paradise Struggle
– Sacred Mountain of Fear

July 30th

– Museum of Duel
– Treasure of Ruins

August 6th

– The Imperial’s Family Ultimate War

August 20th

– Concealed Historical Evidence (part 1 and 2)
