FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time launches on Switch 2 on June 5th worldwide; over 500,000 units sold since launch

Earlier this month, Level-5 announced that FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time would be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in the future, though no release date was given at the time. But today, the company revealed that it would launch on June 5th worldwide, making it a last minute addition to the console’s launch line-up.

Level-5 also confirmed the pricing for all regions. It’s as follows:

  • Europe: 62.26€
  • United States: $62.58
  • Japan: 7,978 Yen

Unfortunately, it appears there will not be a physical release in any region (unlike the Nintendo Switch version, which got one in Japan). Also, at this point in time, there are no plans to sell the Digital Deluxe Edition on Nintendo Switch 2, which means you will need to buy it on Nintendo Switch if you want it.

If you already own the game on Nintendo Switch, you can get an upgrade pack to get the various improvements on Nintendo Switch 2. Said pack costs:

  • Europe: 2.27€
  • United States: $2.59
  • Japan: 300 Yen

Speaking about the Nintendo Switch 2 improvements, Level-5 confirmed that they are as follows:

  • Reduced Load Times: Enjoy smoother scene transitions and faster game launches for a seamless experience.
  • Improved Graphics and Frame Rate: Visuals are more beautiful and animations more fluid than before.

Finally, Level-5 has announced that FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time is off to a pretty promising start with over 500,000 units sold across all platforms as of May 24th (within two days).

To celebrate, Level-5 announced that a free DLC called “Update the World!” will be released in the future. It will introduce additional content to help players enjoy the game for even longer.

FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time (Switch 2 – eShop) comes out on June 5th worldwide.
