Today, various tidbits from Famitsu magazine leaked (quite earlier than usual). Check out this post for all the details (major announcements will get their own post).

Medabots Classic Collection

This year, the Medabots series celebrates its 20th Anniversary, and it looks like there’s going to be a collection. Called Medabots Classic Collection, it includes the 5 games in the series. Very little is known about the collection itself, though according to Famitsu, the various gameplay systems have been improved (it’s not just straight ports, then).

Just like several other entries in the series, Medabots Classic Collection will get two versions: Kabuto and Kuwagata (4 800 Yen + taxes for each). There’s also a Limited Edition sold 12 000 Yen (+ taxes), including soundtrack CD and artbook.

Unfortunately, the Medabots Classic Collection doesn’t have a release date yet, but it’s already been added to the Upcoming Games page!

Sumikko Gurashi: Sumikko Park e Youkoso

In the past few years, several Sumikko Gurashi games were released on Nintendo 3DS, and they’ve all been quite successful. And it looks like the series is now headed to the Nintendo Switch, with Sumikko Gurashi: Sumikko Park e Youkoso. Very little is known about it, other than it’s a party game, and that it will be released on December 7th. The price? 5 800 Yen.

Here’s some screenshots and the boxart:
