The Fall Part 2: Unbound confirmed for Wii U

The Fall is a Puzzle-adventure game available on Wii U, developed by Over The Moon. It’s actually part of a trilogy, with The Fall Part 2: Unbound scheduled for Q1 2017. Good news for Wii U owners: it was confirmed today that this sequel would also come on Wii U (alongside the other platforms).

Since The Fall Part 2: Unbound is a direct sequel, it takes place right after the event of the first game, with the protagonist trying to find a way to her body. The developers promise a “‘though-provoking” tale. As far as gameplay is concerned, this sequel will offer “Metroidvania-style exploration”, with the player meeting and controlling several different robot bodies (each with their own personalities).

The Fall Part 2: Unbound is designed in such a way that someone who hasn’t played the first one can still enjoy it. That being said, it’s highly recommend to play the first one, quite simply because it’s pretty good! For players who are yet to play it, there will be a sale on the Nintendo eShop soon (about 80-90% off, no less!).

Here’s a teaser trailer:

The Fall Part 2: Unbound (Wii U eShop) should be released in Q1 2017. We don’t know if a NX version is in the works or not. Also, Our Upcoming Releases page has been updated!
