Etrian Odyssey V: results of the Famitsu survey for the magazine cover, DLC screens

Update: more screenshots for Etrian Odyssey V have been added. You will find them below!

Etrian Odyssey V – Famitsu cover

In a couple of weeks, Etrian Odyssey V will be featured on the cover of Famitsu magazine, with a special illustration. But instead of just letting Yuji Himukai draw the cover by himself, Famitsu held a survey. The results of that very survey would influence the illustration that is to be used for the cover of the magazine.

And today, Famitsu finally revealed the results of that survey:

Q1: Characters players would put in their party (NB: Fencer was mandatory, so it was excluded from the vote)

  1. Dragoon (607 votes)
  2. Herbalist (515 votes)
  3. Warlock (498 votes)
  4. Hound (492 votes)
  5. Masurao (358 votes)
  6. Necromancer (343 votes)
  7. Reaper (340 votes)
  8. Shaman (313 votes)
  9. Cestus (187 votes)

Q2: Most common party configuration

  1. Front: 3 characters (Fencer, Dragoon, Masurao), Back: 2 characters (Herbalist, Warlock)
  2. Front: 2 characters (Fencer, Dragoon), Back: 2 characters (Hound, Warlock, Herbalist)

After consulting with Atlus staff, they went with the following for the cover illustrations:

  1. 4 most popular classes
  2. Second party configuration
