Etrian Mystery Dungeon getting free DLC at launch
It’s become a habit for Atlus: each one of their new releases now get free DLC at launch, though only for a limited time. The DLC for Etrian Mystery Dungeon will be free until March 31st, and consists of several quests: by completing them, players can get useful items that will help them through the game.
The quests are:
– Find the Furai, please (normal price: 150 Yen): you need to go find a Furai, who is in the very first dungeon. As a reward, you get three dishes that boost both item and money acquisition rates, as well as your chances to find special floors.
– Find the Landsknecht! (normal price: 150 Yen): you need to go find a Landsknecht, who is in the second dungeon of the game. As a reward, you get three dishes that XP acquisition rate, as well as the BLAST meter and your chances of finding rares species within the dungeons.
– Defeat the Golden Guardian (normal price: 150 Yen): you need to find and defeat a golden guardian wandering around in a dungeon. As a reward, you’ll get money and lots of materials.
– Do You Know The Red Pooka? (normal price: 200 Yens): you need to find and defeat the Red Pooka F.O.E. wandering around in one of the dungeons. As a reward, you can get two items that will allow you to level-up faster.
– Please Find the Princess (normal price: 200 Yen): you need to find a Princess class character, who is in the first dungeon. As a reward, you get a special item that lets you keep all your items if you ever die in a dungeon.
Etrian Mystery Dungeon (3DS) comes out on March 5th in Japan, and April 7th in Europe.
