Bloody Bunny: The Game

Digipen Game Studios have announced their latest game for the Nintendo Switch: Bloody Bunny: The Game, a hack ‘n slash developed by Digital Innovative Design & Technology Center and Quantum Peaks. It will be released on March 11th in Europe and North America, with digital pre-purchases set to go live today. It will cost $9.99 and will require about 2.46GB of free space.

This game is but the first one from Digital Innovative Design & Technology Center to be published by Digipen Game Studios, with three more in the works (to be announced at a later date).

Here’s a trailer, some details, and the list of key features:

Bloody Bunny, The Game is a fast-paced hack-and-slash action title where the events from Thailand-based 2Spot Studio’s popular animated web series, Bloody Bunny: The First Blood, come to life. The game is adapted from the animation and reintroduces familiar characters like Bloody Bunny, Mumu, Dark Rabbit, and the Skull Minions. Combining third-person action combat, challenging gameplay, and dynamic weapon upgrading mechanics, players will get to control the titular character and experience the deliciously dark storyline in Bloody Bunny: The First Blood for themselves.

Bloody Bunny, The Gameoffers two playthrough modes: Story Mode and Endless Mode. In Story Mode, players have to explore and survive the post-apocalyptic world where humans have been turned into dolls by an evil, nameless organization. While all other dolls have lost their memories and identities, Bloody Bunny awakens retaining hers. She is horrified to realize that her little sister, Mumu, has also been turned into a doll, and this drives Bloody Bunny to seek revenge and stop the organization.

Players have to fight their way through seven levels of enemies and nine boss stages in order to help Bloody Bunny get her revenge. After successfully completing a playthrough of Story Mode, players will then unlock Endless Mode, which is a continuous battle arena where they can slash their way through waves of enemies from all the different levels.
