Lightseekers

Yesterday, PlayFusion announced that Lightseekers will be released in mid-January (the Nintendo eShop lists it for a January 10th release). This version of the game will feature cross-play with the mobile version. Here’s some more details about it:

By merging the worlds of physical and digital, players can experience a whole new way to play: Scan cards from physical collections and then immediately begin to customise digital decks with brand new options, forge new tactics and bring them to the digital battlefield.

Players can practice with their custom deck against AI or play casually against the community or friends. The most competitive players will be able to challenge the leaderboards for their rightful place and show their skill in ranked matches to earn the greatest rewards. The digital game now provides convenient quick matches, more customization, personalization, and digital booster packs to expand players’ collections

SEGA Ages Gain Ground

SEGA has announced that SEGA Ages Gain Ground will be the next SEGA Ages release on Nintendo Switch, and that it will be available “this year”. Since there’s only one week left in 2018, the release date is most definitely December 27th.

Joggernauts

Earlier this week, Joggernauts received an update that added some guest characters to the game:

Cowpokes from West of Loathing. He was found in a makeshift saloon, which is odd because normally space ships don’t have saloons, and definitely not in their cargo rooms. I mean, there was that one TNG episode, but… well, nevermind.
Hue and Val from Runbow. They were discovered trying to turn a box of Switchalizer 5000s into some sort of color-based racing game.
CommanderVideo from BIT.TRIP Runner. He managed to climb a set of stairs, slide into an escape pod, and land on the moon Splizorp. He should be easy to find in one of the new levels, though.

Here’s a trailer for those new characters:

Dawn of the Breakers

As compensation for the maintenance period that took place earlier this week, players who created their account before December 20th can claim the following as special Log-in Bonus:

  • [Spirit Gem] x40

You have until January 18th to claim yours!
