DORAEMON STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of the Great Kingdom out on November 2nd in Japan; early purchase bonus, Seasons Pass, and more revealed
Announced during the latest Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase in June, DORAEMON STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of the Great Kingdom is the unexpected follow up to the first DORAEMON STORY OF SEASONS game (released back in 2019). Unfortunately, when it was announced, no release date was given beyond a vague “2022”.
But today, Bandai-Namco finally announced that it will be released on November 2nd in Japan. Europe and North America don’t have a release date yet, but considering the game is slated for a 2022 release worldwide, it’s quite likely it will launch during the same week outside Japan.
Also, Bandai-Namco revealed the early purchase bonus (for the physical version) and the pre-order bonus (for the digital version):
- Set of Summer clothes for Nobita and his friends
- Set of furniture
NB: the Serial Code needs to be used before November 1st 2023)
For players looking to buy the game digitally, a Deluxe Edition will be available. It includes the following:
- the base game
- the Season Pass (each set to be released by the end of 2023)
- Costumes, Furniture and Mini-Scenario Pack 1 (includes costumes for all 5 characters, 8 pieces of furniture, and a mini-scenario)
- Costumes, Furniture and Mini-Scenario Pack 2 (includes costumes for all 5 characters, 8 pieces of furniture, and a mini-scenario)
- Costumes, Furniture and Mini-Scenario Pack 3 (includes costumes for all 5 characters, 8 pieces of furniture, and a mini-scenario)
- High Quality Crops Seed Set (Season Pass bonus)
- Digital Soundtrack (80 tracks from the two DORAEMON STORY OF SEASONS games)
- Four Seasons Vegetables Seeds Set (Deluxe Edition bonus)
Finally, Bandai-Namco announced that players with save data for the first DORAEMON STORY OF SEASONS will be able to get some bonus costumes in DORAEMON STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of the Great Kingdom!

DORAEMON STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of the Great Kingdom (Switch) comes out on November 2nd in Japan. No release date for Europe and North America yet, but the game is slated for a 2020 release in those regions.
