Bubble Bobble 4 Friends

Taito have announced that Bubble Bobble 4 Friends will be released on February 27th in Japan. Two editions will be available:

  • Regular (4 800 Yen)
  • Limited Edition (9 800 Yen)
    • Original Soundtrack
    • 2 sets of Sticker sheets (featuring illustrations from Bubble Bobble on Arcade)
    • Pop display (featuring illustrations from Bubble Bobble on Arcade)
    • Reprint of the instruction card for Bubble Bobble on Arcade

Also, players who pre-order the game on Amazon JP during the Cyber Mondays offer (December 6th to December 9th) will get a Download Code for Final Bubble Bobble (originally released on Mark III).

Ring Fit Adventure

In Japan, Ring Fit Adventure has been quite popular since launch… a bit too much for Nintendo, who are struggling to keep up with demand. The game has been facing shortages for the past few weeks, and unfortunately, it’s not going to improve until later next month.

Nintendo have sent a statement to announce that they will increase the number of shipments per week towards the end of the month (presumably for Christmas and New Year), and that they will keep sending new units every week until then (though weekly sales show that it’s clearly not enough to meet demand).

Unfortunately, it looks like getting a copy of Ring Fit Adventure during the holiday season is going to be rather difficult, though we don’t really know how big the shipments will be in December…
