Niantic have announced that the following bonuses are back in Pokémon GO, in light of the Covid-19 pandemic:

  • Incense effectiveness will be increased, now attracting Pokémon to you more often.
  • Your Buddy Pokémon will now bring you more Gifts each day, up to five gifts at once and up to three times a day.

Those bonuses will remain active until, at least, June 2021. Any changes to them will be announced a month before they go live.

Also, select upcoming events will feature the following bonuses:

  • Incubator distance reduction
  • Trade distance increases
  • 1 PokéCoin bundles
  • And more
