Daily news (June 8, Round 2): Xenoblade Chronicles 2 / Super Mario Maker 2

Today’s Daily news: updated sales data for Xenoblade Chronicles 2, but also…

  • Super Mario Maker 2
  • Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled
  • Decay of Logos
  • Splatoon 2
  • Machinarium
  • Dragalia Lost

Xenoblade Chronicles 2

In an interview with 4Gamer (and Katsuhiro Harada from Bandai-Namco), Tetsuya Takahashi revealed that Xenoblade Chronicles 2 sold 1.73 million units as of March 21st 2019. This data most definitely comes from Nintendo themselves, which means it’s shipment data (including digital sales), though it doesn’t make much of a difference since the sellthrough total must be pretty close to total shipments (the game was not overshipped, far from it).

Based on this, we can calculate that Xenoblade Chronicles 2 sold about 200 000 units since the latest sales update from Nintendo.
